Cecina Mare

Marina di Cecina is the area of coastal town of Cecina, in the Province of Livorno. The territory when Etruscan settlements, gave birth later also in surrounding areas to a long period of decline caused by the decline of Etruscan civilization, grown because of Roman domination. Since the mid century through the reclamation of the Grand Duke Leopold II of Tuscany territory changed, becoming farmland, making grow the local economy. The first settlements of Cecina date back to 1852, which were almost completely destroyed during the Second World War.
